Bringing Your Dream to Life: Turning Your Jewellery Vision into a Stunning Reality

Working with a Skilled Jeweller to Create a Custom Piece that Reflects Your Style and Personality

We often have clients who come to us for a jewellery consultation with a very clear idea of how they want their new piece(s) to look. They may have a 2D sketch or drawing, or a collection of images of jewellery they admire. This is a great starting point, as it gives us a clear understanding of what the client wants and allows us to begin the design process with a strong foundation.

Sketches provided by client with existing jewellery

Designing a custom piece of jewellery from inherited pieces is a great way to create something unique and sentimental. However, it's essential to keep in mind that there may be limitations to what can be done. For instance, our team will carefully assess the existing gemstones for any flaws and advise on the most appropriate and secure settings for the diamonds or gemstones to ensure they won't fall out over time. By taking these steps, we can guarantee that the final piece is both beautiful and functional.

To ensure that the final piece of jewellery is symmetrical and balanced, it's important to use accurate measurements when designing the piece. This is where CAD technology comes in. By using precise measurements and 3D rendering, CAD technology allows our expert jewellery designers to create a detailed, accurate design that takes into account the size and exact placement of each gemstone. This allows the client to see a realistic representation of their design and allows for any adjustments to be made before the final piece is created.

Using CAD technology can also help our designers identify any potential issues with the design before it is created. For example, if the gemstones are not in the correct position, or if the design is too complex to be created with the chosen materials, we can make adjustments to ensure that the final piece is both beautiful and functional.
