Released From Captivity
Susan’s Story….
Susan contacted us as she had a few rings that were stuck in her jewellery box, never seeing the light of day.
Susan wanted to re-use her gold in her new design and was interested in creating a wearable statement ring. She explained that she loves simple, classic and elegant designs and initially proposed a halo-style design.
So, we got to work with her design…..
Susan’s initial designs were based on what she had thought she wanted, but they didn’t quite hit the mark….
So the design was tweaked, but still the design was not quite right…
Until we created a double band design which was seriously impressive! A gently tapered band would make the wide ring comfortable to wear whilst dazzling with its awesomeness!
The Creation!
Work began. Susan’s diamonds were carefully unset from her existing jewellery, cleaned, calibrated and prepared for their new home. The ring was cast using new 18ct gold to ensure the strength and quality of Susan’s new ring was not compromised. The central setting was created in platinum.
